fond of traditional flamenco, like the concert Dorantes me I could not lose. If only for my very great love of flamenco families of Pinini and Perrate. Moreover, these two families I consider them in the history of flamenco and the best example of the greatest personalities. Why Dorantes went to the concert? Many of his family background have this reputation of leading artists, but no doubt that Dorantes became a great artist, not by them, on its own merits. Dorantes for the history of flamenco has only increased the number of great artists who come from these families. Now I could not tell exactly whether it is more from Pinini Peña by his surname, or if the Perrate by his grandmother Maria La Perrata. I think it is so important. The most important thing is that Dorantes became a leading artist in his own art, presented with the stage name Dorantes and not otherwise.
information for your concert in Prague has moved me greatly. For me was really a big surprise. How much I appreciate the organizers who brought him here, in our country. On the other hand made me a little sad that the organizer of the Prague performance was the world of jazz. This happened as we arrived in flamenco world news very late, only a week before the concert. It was in a small theater and just as the theater was filled, only three quarters. I think the name of this artist is not as well known here in the jazz world and the world of flamenco. Also do not forget that we are not France or Japan and that our world of flamenco is a very small world. I would add that knowledge of the flamenco are always just on principle. Also that day, May 6, 2011, was on TV a very important hockey game. Since Spain is a country of football, ours is ice hockey.
Dorantes with his group should not worry much less not so many people came to the theater, because this event had absolutely nothing to do with his qualities or his art as with those other reasons.
